I never met Chris Potten, but greatly admired his work on the organisation of cell proliferarion in the epidermis; partly because I had a look at it using separated epidermal sheets prepared by Harry Elliot. I did a few mitosis arrest experiments and labelling experiments,but got bogged down in trying to analyse spatial distributions.  A.R.M.
