Minutes for the meeting of the SPG held at Twin Farms, Kenton Bank Foot at 8p.m. on 28 Feb 2019.

Four members enjoyed meals from the menu.

 Initial highbrow conversation about poetry (including recitations from memory by David A) and painting (leading on from a discussion of Adrian’s current exhibition in Newbiggin) quickly degenerated when Mary introduced the subject of a ‘frog orgy’ and ‘rodent rampage’ in her garden. Some semblance of decorum was restored with a consideration of how playing at altitude might affect the flight of the ball in golf and cricket, and how the atmosphere at St James’ Park deteriorated after the loss of standing areas. Following a comparison of the pros and cons of the current and previous College buildings, the meeting finished at 10.30p.m.
It was proposed that we next meet on Tuesday 26th March, at the same venue.
